What's the best low-cost power supply?

I need a power supply for a low budget gaming rig I'm building. I need at least a 400W, preferably a 500W. I'm hoping to spend less than $50, and if it came with a case that would make it even better.

I'm planning on using an E8400, with a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L Mobo, 2GB of 1066 Mhz DC Ram, a 7200RPM 500GB HDD.

I need a cheap power supply that will power them well, and hopefully a case with it. I really don't want to spend over $100 on a case and PS.

I was looking at the Antec Sonata III, but if theres anything better/cheaper I'd love to know.

Antec is a notorious brand for their cases and PSU's. I've never heard of an Antec power supply die on them.
