going to london and paris for the first time with my uncle when i was 9.

Me and my dad used to go out whenever he'd come home after traveling, and on one of those trips I wanted ice cream.

I simply wanted butterpecan ice cream in a cone, but when we got to Baskin Robbins, they were out of cones. So, after ordering my dad saw that I was unhappy, so we pulled out of line and headed towards TCBY.

Unfortunately, at TCBY they didn't have butter pecan. So, my dad seeing again that I was dissapointed, said "Hey, dump that ice cream, and we'll take the cone to Baskin Robbins and make them put their ice cream in our cone."

Whenever we got there, I was afraid they'd recognize us, so my dad disguised his voice (in a rather silly manner) and ordered once again.

It was seven dollars and some wasted gas money, but it was one of the happiest times I've ever had, and it sums up how wonderful my dad is.

That's why it's my favorite memory. So far, anyway. =)
