Question:

What's the best motherboard for the E8400?

I am looking at building a computer, and have decided on buying the E8400 CPU. I need a motherboard good for overclocking, and won't slow the CPU down. Sadly though, I am heavily budgeted. I was looking at the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L or the ASUS P5K SE. Are there any other sub-100 dollar motherboards that would work well?

This is going to be my first build.

  2. Ive built 3 computers with the GA-EP35-DS3L, its a solid motherboard.  Just make sure you have a USB keyboard and if you want to install xp, make sure to get nlite (www.nliteos.com) and make a custom install with the SATA drivers in there to make it quick and painless.  (Trust me, it will be a WHOLE lot harder without it).  Any other questions, feel free to ask, I'm probably in the thousands in computer builds . . .
