I spend between 40 and 50 pounds on phone calls, i'm on pay as you go at the moment and i've been told that I would save a lot more being in a contract. I'm with t-mobile and in order for them to give me a contract, i need to have a good credit history. I just have a normal bank account that i pay some of my bills and i really want to get a mobile contract, but these companies won't accept it. What should i do in order to get a contract?

  1. I've with O2, i dont ahve a credit card I jus had direct debits (coming out from my bank account each month)

Also its a 30 day contract called simplicaity so if you're happy with you're phone you jus get the SIM card n you get a lot more minutes.

I get 1200 mins, 1000 texts and free weekend calls each month for £30. T-mobile n pretty much all operators also do a version of this n i think you can get more minutes as well.

It's good because you're not stuck with them for that set time you can cancel easily plus tend to get more value for money as you're not getting a phone as well and it youre credit rating probably wont matter.

  2. When i got my contract mobile, i never had a credit card either, so i had to give my sort code and account number, which is really all you need in order for direct debits. However this was years ago.. I believe now, however, they want a credit or a debit card, such as switch, electron, solo or delta.. See about exploring whether you could get a debit card for your kind of account. That should solve your problems.

  3. Try getting one on the '3' network.  You don't need a credit card and bills just come out of your bank by direct debit.  They seem to be easier than ALL of the other network providers to get a contract with and they are cheap too!  Good luck x

  4. when you apply online it usualy works that way
