What's the best overall car brand?

Honestly in my opinion I think Honda is the best overall car brand, because they build some of the most reliable and most powerful engines in the world, they build the engines for all the indy cars in the indy car series, and all there engines they build run forever, also too alot of there cars get about 30 to 40 mpg. Honda engineers just really know how to build cars with reliablility and excellent quality.

depends on what you want to use it for (sorry, I just had to do it). I think american cars are c**p. I prefer honda or toyota. I think most foreign cars are better than an american made cars based on quality.

We all will have our own choices for me its Nissan we are on our 5th and so far have never let us down we have had a really high mileage one and driven another for 2000 miles and only stop for short breaks and it keep going and going with not even the car temp going over norm.

It will be Nissan again next time.

But to be fair Nissan is now part of Renault and Volvo and Toyota and Ford and Mazda.

It depends!!!  Toyota and Honda both make very good reliable cars.  We own a Honda Civic and it is one of the most reliable cars that we have ever owned.  Its 7 years old and runs as good today as it did when it was new.  If I had to buy a new car today, I would go with another Honda.  Okay, you can report me now.
