What's the best phone for internet surfing?

I want to get a phone primarily for internet. I was going to ge the Iphone 3g, but I have heard bad things about its connectivity. I dont want to spenf the money and be dissapointed. I have AT+T and was looking at the TILT. I already have a blackberry pearl and am looking for something that looks more like my desktop internet. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I just got my pearl a week ago and the internet is quite fast. Even connected to a linksys router at 30 percent, its pretty fast. If you use it on wifi, it would be faster. THe Curve is even better, and i would recommend that you upgrade your blackberry instead of trying something else.
