  1. Photoshop... Photoshop... Photoshop...

  2. I use the program called Photofiltre - yes that is the correct spelling.

Here is the site to download :

Click on this and the first link says 'English Version'

Click that and it will download :)

It's very easy to use, and it's free, unlike most of the other photoshop programs.

  3. you want the latest version of Photoshop.

    but

you want to purchase all the plug-ins too

there are several groups you can buy

    eye candy

    mock

    alien skin

    photographic edges

    texture explorer

    etc

  4. Try Photoshop. It has the tools to do just about anything you want to photos.

  5. I'm not so sure about movies, but if your talking about Digital stills, Photoshop CS2/CS3 reigns the crown.

  6. Photoshop works really well, the newest version is what i recommend.

  7. No one program can do everything, but Photoshop is the standard. As for movies - depends on what exactly you are doing. Are you talking about photo-manipulation in terms of motion graphics/special effects? Film uses several programs, some very specialized that are usually priced out of reach for the average consumer - a program like Flame runs about $80,000. USD

CGI is not cheap and very difficult to learn - but photoshop is a key program/skill set. I would start there. Maybe take a class at a film school to get a grasp of the basics and to see what you actually want to do. Post production is a very specialized field - you need to figure out what part of it most interests you.
