I'm so fed up with the vegetarian options in the restaurants I've been to - pasta, pasta or pasta! Vegetarians are definitely second class citizens here.

  2. I know the feeling we are definitely second class citizens maybe we should do a protest or something! Saying that I was pleasantly surprised at the new Brewers Fayre last week as there were three yes three veggie options! anyway rant over nope I can sadly say there are no decent places for us veggies!

  3. Mcdonalds conswater

  4. There was (might still be there) an Indian restaurant/carry out called Little India now Archana Balti House at 53 Dublin Road above the BBC ...on the right hand side going towards Shaftesbury Sq. 02890323713.  Usually most Indian restaurants have a fairly good veggie selection and they DON't do pasta.

If splashing out Grace Neill's in Donaghadee had a good selection of veggie options BUT I think it may have changed hands recently so phone to check...their website ..link below...is currently / underconstruction/ ??? change of owner???

  5. The jharna tandoori on the lisbun rd has a very extensive veg menu.

  6. ah i don't know

  7. In general, chinese and indian restaurants are very good at catering for vegetarians, unlike some of the more traditonal British places, who think vegetarians are wierd.  I'm not veggie but I do like to try nice veggie dishes.  Cafe Renoir in Botanic Avenue strikes me as a possible option  - and its a BYO wine.
