What's the best place in Brisbane, Australia to sell scrap gold? ?

I have a quantity of 9 carat scrap gold to sell & was wondering where the best place is to do so (I live in Brisbane Australia). I prefer not to sell on ebay as there are too many scammers around.

inner city used to have some good shops but that was many years ago. You will just have to take your chance if you not a regular customer you are likely to get scammed anyway

whered you find the stuff - hidden in a old house!!! lol
