What's the best place in baja, Mexico for a beach holiday?

I'm going to Cabo San Lucas for 5 days with my girlfriend. Am looking for a nice romantic beach holiday with minimal fuss. La Paz looks interesting and I'd love to do some snorkeling. Any suggestions? I'm thinking to either stay in CSL or rent a car for the week and go up to La Paz...

If you like nightlife stay in CSL. The Solmar on the pacific side is beautiful.  Seculded from the main beaches, no vendors bothering you every two minutes.

I would go to San Felipe Baja Cifornia

Hola.  I was just in La Paz a while back.  I drive there from CSL often.  It is a working city, not much tourist activities or places.

La Paz isn't much, but the beaches way out near Tocolote and Balandra are nice.  You can also go out on kayaking, snorkeling and diving trips with several tour companies.  The sea of cortez is really teeming with lots of wildlife and breathtakingly beautiful.  

Buses are another option if you don't want to drive.  They are pretty reliable to La Paz and you can even hop a bus to the beaches.

However,  I think you would find enough to do in CSL for your whole holiday without going to La Paz.
