  1. We found that AAA travel gave the best price when we went.

  2. cruise includes your room, most meals, some beverages.  does not include alcoholic drinks, gambling, airfare, excursions(tours( in ports)

places to find out more about cruiseing

    include

    cruisecritic.com

    cruiseclues.com

  3. The best place to find a deal is on one of the travel sites such as Travelocity, Expedia etc..... All meals are included in the price of the cruise and drinks include coffe, tea, milk and Iced tea. Soda will cost you as well as Liquor, and it is very expensive. When I was on a 7 day cruise the soda was 3.00 a glass plus they automatically put the tip on it. Alcohol is the same way. If you drink alot of soda before you board the ship buy a soda sticker for 20.00 it allows unlimited soft drinks with no extra charge. Tipping is not included in the price and by the end of the cruise plan on tipping at least 150.00 depending on the length of the cruise. For every drink  you order they tack on anywhere from 3-15% so check this out before you book a cruise.

  4. Go to www.cruisenegotiators.com, ask for a cruise fare and several travel agents from different travel agencies will email you their price. It's a free service

  5. I have been on four Royal Caribbean cruises and here is something that I have learned from other people.  Many people like Royal Caribbean and have try some of the other cruise lines.  Guess what, they all came back to Royal Caribbean.  Check out the Royal Caribbean web site on the internet.  See for yourself.

  6. If you are looking for discounts go to http://travelocity.com or http://www.bbcarefreetravel.com. they always have good package deals.

  7. I've been on six Carnival Cruises.

All were amazing and a lot of fun.  I have a reputation on the Carnival Triumph as a trivia wizard - I won two ship prizes for them.  In fact, the social host had the stall the game because I was running away with it (he asked questions like the names of my competitor's wife or their cabin numbers).  Later he said he never saw anything like me buzzing in and answering questions.

The best deals for cruises are vacationstogo.com and skyauction.com.

What you get is all the food you can eat, a cabin, full use of the library, swimming pool, and hot tub, movies, and admission to the shows.  What you pay extra for is drinks (soda and alcohol), specialty dining, photos, shore excursions, and spa treatments.

You'll have fun, I guarantee it.

  8. carnival crusies include most major things food the room most facilities on the ship,

shore excurtions cost extra and can be expensive

also you have to pay for drinks

im in a hospitality class and we have talked about this mant times. cruises now have cards that you can eaither put money on or pay at the end for when you purtues things on the ship. if you plan on do and excursion or 2 plan them ahead of time because they will fill up

  9. You can use the search engine on www.vacationstogo.com to compare cruise lines. The search engine allows you to search by departure port and see 90-day deals and other bargains.  Be aware...most teaser rates you see on the web do not include the port fees and taxes.  These run from $75-150 depending on itinerary.  Be sure to have your travel agent include these fees in any quote you get.

Carnival has a price match policy. If you find any lower price on the web w/i 24 hours of booking with them, they will match the price.

The fee you pay Carnival includes your cabin, food and entertainment except the casino.

What your fee does not include:

Tips.  $10 per day per person.  Carnival charges your account for these fees the moment you board.

Bar drinks.  $4-12 each plus 15% gratuity.

Sodas.  $1.75 by can or $35-45 for soda fountain card that gives you unlimited soda by the glass.  Soda fountain card does not include sodas from room service.

    Bingo. $5-10 per card.

    Spa services. $50-200 per service

    Shore excursions.  $50-200 per event.

    Photos.  $20-22 per sheet.

Taxis while in port.  Usually $5-20.

Parking at port.  Check with local port authority.

Tips to luggage porters & shore excursion staff.

    Casino- ????

Speciality resturant.  Reservations only type place.

Coffee shoppe - goument coffee $3-10

    Internet - by the minute....

Phone on board ship - $7.00 per minute

With exception of the tips, all of the "other" fees are optional and you could go on a cruise and not spend any additional money and have a great time.

Also, Carnival is a cashless system.  You set up an account when you board for your incidental purchases.  You can givem them a credit card or a cash deposit.  If you use cash, they will send you a note when you have spent your deposit. Again, if you use cash, deposit enough money up front to cover the tips and what you want to spend.
