I'm 13 and trying to get more muscle by weight lifting. I was just wondering, what would be the best power smoothie recipe?

  1. The fun of making smoothies is experimenting. Most people use milk as the base-liquid, which is fine, but you might also think about using a fruit juice instead of the milk.

    Try putting apple juice in a blender, then add a scoop or two of protein powder; turn the blender on, then carefully add some cut-up banana (or a handful of strawberries or blueberries or peaches), then blend it for a few seconds and add some ice ... NEVER put ice into an EMPTY blender: always liquid FIRST, then turn the blender on, then ice or other ingredients.
