What's the best pub/ bar (not club) night out in Bristol (England)?

Aha! Good question.

I like the Drawbridge next to the Hippodrome, O'Neills down Baldwin Street, and BSB by the Waterfront. Various other places including Pitcher & Piano, and lots of pubs/bars up Park Street for the more upmarket. Not really my scene though ;)

To answer your question, Thursday is student night this year, so if you are one, go out then for cheaper drinks, if not, avoid it and go out any other day of the week! Sunday is usually a lot quieter than your obvious Friday and Saturday choices.

As for specific bar's nights out, I don't really know of any. You could try Walkabout. Have fun anyway. I'll be out Saturday!
