Porcao, been there delicious food. they also have a franchise in Florida (Miami) & NY. been to the one in Miami & food was excellent.

Torrao is another great place to eat!

There are any number of fine places to dine in Rio.  I would suggest a churrascaria - I've never been to one that was bad.  

Seriously, you can't go wrong with all you can eat meat (of all types) and salads (of all types).

Hard to pick the best place without narrowing down to some categories. If you like sushi, Sushi Leblon is definitely great. Zuka, right next door on Leblon as well, has great thai / asian fusion food. Neither is typically Brazilian, though. If you love seafood, you should go with Marius Seafood on Leme, but have in mind it is pricey (for Brazilian standards) - prob $70 a person including drinks and all you can eat seafood - including delicious lobster tails
