i have damaged hair, split ends and all. i'm needing to get a shampoo and conditioner for fixing this. it needs to be one from the bed head line. i already own the oatmeal and honey collection. and i also have tried the headshot collection, but i don't like it. so out of these three, which one would you pick?

  1. I personally wouldn't recommend any of the Tigi / BedHead line, only because they are considered to have very "trendy" packaging, which doesn't necessarily mean it'll give you the best results.

If you're looking for a drugstore shampoo, try Dove Shampoo. It's very gentle and, if you use it over time, it can help repair damaged hair. Also, Pantene Pro-V has a line called "Restoratives." I used this and my hair appeared to be more healthy. http://www.pantene.com/jsp/product/index...

If you're looking for something more high-end, try visiting a salon to see what they recommend.

There is no product that can completely restore damaged hair. Your best bet is to chop most of the dead hair off and start with a clean slate. But before resorting to that, try a different shampoo and be sure to DEEP condition every 3-7 days.

Also, if you use straightening or curling irons, be sure to use a thermal heat-protecting spray before hand, like this one: http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/produ...

Finally, if you have the time, buy a pair of VERY sharp haircutting scissors and go through and snip off the split-ends yourself.

  3. I didn't check the link and I am not familiar with Bed Head brand. About 2 years ago, I colored my hair and it started to fall out BADLY. I mean in patches.

The ONLY thing that stopped the breakage and improved my hair's condition was Redken Extreme. I must also say that it worked fairly quick. I have included a link.

  4. go to a salon or hair products store and buy joico it works good

  5. Garnier Fructis has three different products for over processed extremely damaged hair. They are strength and repair shampoo, conditioner, and melting masque. I wouldn't recommend anything better!

  6. Get the Moisture Maniac shampoo and Self Absorbed conditioner. I did that when my hair was ridiculously damaged and I used those products and HALLELUJAH it was saved! lmao

  7. either 75% smoother Pantene or moisturizer Biolage
