Okay, I just bleached my hair like 3 times with paroxide and it went orangey gingery blondey. I hated it, seriously, when people say on here " dont do it, your hair will be be ruined " you should listen, i'm getting it all cut tomorow but anyway. I went over it with black hair dye that was permnat :| my hair is naturally dark brown but i want to try get my naturall color back, as soon as posssible to go to a salon and get streaks monthly and what not.

So whats the best product to get rid of hair dye that doesnt damage your hair to much? i use a very good conditionar so dont worry

  1. use a clarifying one those are good for that though you will not get all the color out esp. black it will maybe take a little of the harshness away. See people this is a good story NEVER COLOR YOUR OWN HAIR!!!!!

  2. Since you bleached it, you don't want to strip out the colour you've now put on it or you'll end up with the bleached colour again. Best thing to do now is just let it grow off - don't add anything more to it or you'll be watching it break off instead of being cut off - regardless of how good your conditioner is. As your hair grows out, just cut off the black until you're back to natural. Anything you use to strip off the colour will dry out the hair shafts and do more damage.

To make your hair grow out a bit faster & stronger, start taking gelatin capsules or eating gelatin every day. You'll see your fingernails get stronger as well.

  3. head and shoulders (classic) mixed with baking powder. sounds like an old wives tale but it actually works! it won't completely get rid of it obviously, but it really lifts alot of the excess colour. after washing it out, your hair will feel sort of crispy, but dont worry this will disappear once u wash it again - but leave it a few days after doing it once, this will get rid of a bit more colour, as it is bascially a bit of the h+s/baking powder residue. oh and DO NOT USE things like colour oops, they say that they 'lift the colour and leave you hair ready for re-colouring'. this sounds like your hair will be back to normal after using it, but it doesnt mean this, it means it strips all pigmentation from the hair, including the natural pigmentation, leaving you with starw-like pale yellow hair. when you've ******* up your hair with colour and especially with the bleach, the lesson should be to STAY AWAY from anything with the word 'colour' in the title!!  hope this helps, it helped me when i did the same thing you've done!

  4. either baby shampoo (johnsons?) or head a shoulders.. I've found that really cheap anti dandruff shampoo works best for mine (Asda's own all the way ! :) )

  5. head and shoulders....

I dye my hair black and it strips it out of my hair

    good luck
