  1. I like these: Adidas® SM-II Martial Arts Shoes.

Only for the dojang though, not for the street.

    James

  2. A horseshoe.

  3. umm none.

martial arts are meant to be practiced barefoot and barehanded.

when I trained in taekwondo, everything was SHOE-LESS....

    dont wear any, problem solved

  4. In most taekwondo classes they train in bare feet. If you're worried about catching something just give your feet a good wash after class.

If you have to wear shoes, try kung fu slippers or trainers (the thin kind, not the chunky ones). My Lacoste Spinderellas, which were designed for urban dance, work fine when I'm training in my back garden etc. Adidas and Nike have ranges designed specifically for martial arts.

  5. buy yourself some kung fu slippers if you want footwear. you wont need it but if youd prefer to wear some, buy a pair of them. they are really cheap, theyre light and grip well to polished floors. you can pick them up at any good martial arts equipment supplier or buy a pair online.

  6. i got some adidas martial arts shoes. they are really comfortable and light. i bought them a while ago for wing tsun but i cant make it to wing tsun classes anymore and my karate and chu zhen dao classes dont like shoes in class. so make sure that you can actually wear them in class before you buy them because they arnt really cheap.
