What's the best site for finding good deals on traveling, or air fare?..?

I'm going from the Midwest to the SW this Fri.

I need a site that offers the best deal when it comes to flying.

I'm staying a hotel, but I was planning on paying that separately, like when I get there, unless you think it's wiser to book it together.

  1. This is the one I found to be the best (http://www.travelfhtm.com/Offroad).  Hope this is helpful.

  2. I use priceline.com if I want to go cheap (no booking fees) and don't care what flight I'm on - that way I can do the set-your-own-price - you offer a price like a bid to the airlines and they either accept it or reject it.  The catch is you get whatever flights you get.  But for me, it's fine 99% of the time.  Expect to have a red-eye or a late evening flight if you do this option.

  3. here a liste of site about traveling:

  4. generally it is way better to book together. Try orbitz.com, hotwire.com, or expedia.com

  5. Try expedia.com

  6. not sure about flights but the best site i know of for hotels is http://www.discounthotel-s.info. the site is an aggregator affiliated with hotels. com which means it searches other sites and presents you with the best deals available. my office uses it for corporate travel. good luck and i hope this helps!

  7. negotiate on priceline.com (but try to be reasonable).

I got a ticket from WA to MI (round-trip) for under $400, and they were normally $550-$650
