He's a dwarf hamster but my regular cage I think is too small for him. Anyone know what size I should get?

  1. If you want your hamster to be really happy, get the biggest sized cage you can afford. I say that an aquarium is the best thing. No way to excape...

  2. Try to get the biggest cage you can find. The bigger, the better for the little hammy.

  3. Your cage or tank should be as large as possible, regardless of what kind of hamster you have. Large tanks with a wheel, a water bottle or bowl or two, a couple food bowls, and plenty of pipes for the hamster to crawl though, and structures to hide under work great. Also, a few cages connected by a network of tubes work great as well. Just remember to include plenty of food and water sources, so they don't starve or die of thirst.

  4. There are four basic types of cages: aquariums, wire, bin and connectable cages. It's a lot of fun to watch your hamster run through all of the tubes in the connectable cages. There are other cages that can connect by tubes but these two are the main ones.
