What's the best solution to output media from my computer to a TV in another room?

I'm looking at the device Netflix has for $99 because it's mainly Netflix Watch Instant movies that I want to watch in another room, but I'm wondering if there is another device that might be a better choice. At this point in time, I'm not interested in another computer to connect to my upstairs TV.

Well i use my x box 360, which is connected to my wireless network, and i brodcast to the x box from my computer. as long as it's connected to the internet and plugged into my TV i can basically do what your trying to do.

Both Linksys and Netgear have media extenders that provide far more flexibility than the Roku/Netflix box.
