What's the best solution to remove scratches from a game disc using household products?

I would like some REALLY specific and good details.

If anyone mentions toothpaste, I won't accept it.

I've tried it, and it DOESN'T WORK!!! It only made the disc WORSE.

You are better off going down to walmart or something and grab $10 worth of scratch remover kit.

I wouldn't used anything in the house hold. They create uneven abrasions. You will something will buffs out the layer evenly.

Toothpaste only works for car headlight which are hazy.

Or you can go down to game stores (game crazy) and they fix the damage disc for like $3 or $4 if you only need to fix one disc.

If you don't want to ruin the disc, go out and buy products that are made SPECIFICALLY for cleaning discs.
