  1. SLOW DOWN IF  CANT BEAT EM JOIN EM

  2. Snooper are very good, however they only detect fixed cameras. If the lazer alert goes off, you have been zapped and recorded by a hand held.

There is a way of making a lazer diffuser so if you get zapped it will bounce back the signal and read as an error on their machines.

For obvious reason I will not go into it on here. PM me if you want to know more.

Best way is just to not speed!!!

  3. Any detector, that is a gadget that picks up some sort of signal from the speed trap is illegal, and may well miss the next trap as the performance is variable at best. They don't work on average speed cameras either. Devices that rely on a database of known locations are fully legal, Inforad is quite good as is TomTom with speed cameras added. Remember they are only as good as the last update of the locations, and won't help with mobile traps unless the area is a known hot-spot.

Perhaps the best is the mark one eyeball

  4. I don't seem to have a problem with this, the government passed legislation many years ago stating that all roads had to have adequate indication as to the maximum speed permitted.

You can see these easily - they are small round signs with a number on them attached to most lamposts, and they tie up with the gauge on your car that indicates your current speed.

Part of your driving test ensures that you can read, so if you apply some common sense to correct driving procedures you can save yourself some money.

  5. i use a snooper evolution havnt had any problems it does its job well not sure if its the best

  6. As "rookethorne" says if you look at the speedo and it does not read more then the numbers in the red circles by the side of the road then you dont get caught ! ! !

  7. Best detection devices - your brain (don't speed in the first place), and your eyes - look out for the clearly marked Speed Limit signs.

If used properly, these devices never fail!

  8. Check out the "Beltronics", best on the market hands down......

  9. I have no idea on that speed camera detection device specifically but I know some SatNav's have them. They detect both handheld (used by static police in unmarked cars) and new and known speed camera's. I can't remember what make it was, and it's legal.

I'm pretty sure it was a Garmin because I remember laughing at the christmas advert and thinking, I know someone with one of those. Lol. I'll get back to you.

  10. I had an OriginB2. It has a built in laser detector. Works off GPS so is passive, And therefore legal. Kept it up to date by downloading once every week. Take up about the size of a packet of cigarettes on top of the dashboard. And lifts out when you are out of the car.

It will give 15seconds notice of any fixed speed camera. So if you are travelling at 100mph in a 30 zone it will give 15 seconds warning. So about 3/4 of a mile away. if you are travelling at 35mph in a 30 zone it will give you about 400yards warning. So no matter what speed you are doing it will give fair warning. With enough space to slow down!!!

All the time I owned it I never had a false alarm. I even picked up a laser 5 cars in front of me. So I had plenty of warning.

I believe they now have it built into a GPS system so now twice the bang for your buck

  11. the best speed camera detection devices are located at the front of you're head. these image receptacles are in constant use and capture a whole range of images including  ones presented by light rays reflecting off of those round discs with numbers on them.

these image receiving devices are connected to the brain which has a major influence over you're feet which control the speed of the vehicle in which you are travelling.

etc etc etc speeding is for tw@ts !!!

    don't speed don't get caught

    rant over...
