  1. I just recently went to the Lane Cove River Steak House.

There was 7 of us having a girls night - we went on the Thursday night before Easter (there wasn't many other patrons which I think was because of Easter).

It's in a pleasant location, right on the river. The food was really good, and as a Coeliac they looked after me very well. The staff were nice and friendly, and they also let everyone pay separately (so 7 different credit cards!)

  2. Gotta be Lone Star. There are heaps so just check out the website or yellow pages to find your nearest one. The steak is fantastic and if you say its your birthday, you get a free brownie and the staff sing the Lonestar birthday song. Oh and they Linedance while you eat. It's great fun for a night out.

  3. I have been to sooo many steak houses and to be totally honest the best and cheapest steak house is on your own balcony. You can choose the most expensive cut like eye fillet $34.95 or get a KG of rump for $9.

You can make your own sides the way you want and be totally satisfied as you control portion contol. Some steak houses are so over priced and the portions leave you unsatisfied with the biggest portion being chips - no thanks!

  4. Hurricane's in Bondi has a busy atmosphere with nice steak, but it is very noisy.

  5. Check out <a href="http://www.bestrestaurants.com.au"... Restaurants of Australia</a> they contains heaps of Steak Restaurants in Sydney. You can even purchase a restaurant voucher from the site.

I live out west, so I usually go to the Outback Steakhouse of the Blackstump.
