How old are you?

The best stock to buy is the one that makes you the most money!!! If I knew which one that was, I would borrow all the money I could, raise all the money I could, and invest it all in that stock, take my billions that I made out of the market put it in save T Bonds, and retire to my own private island. I wouldn't be telling you, now would I? So if anyone actually gives you an answer to your question , you have to wonder why they are taking to you and not investing all that they have or can get into that stock themeselves! Understand?

Which is the best one to buy? The one you are most interested in.

Since you probably haven't any really good ideas, there are some to check out: GENZ, ODFL, VAR, and JNJ

They are highly rated by a couple of common rating agencies, make good profits, and the market has been treating them well in the last year, month, and week.

IMO: Buy some BCE if you think the deal will go through, its a quick 7-8% in 5 months
