What's the best thing to cook with chicken in it?

quick, i'm HUNGRY and i've already defrosted some peices of chicken. what shall i have? i'm having a bath later so i can't be cooking all night.

help anyone?

  1. Cheese sauce with chicken tossed with pasta.

    Boil some chicken and veg's in water add some chicken stock then noodles, hey presto u have chicken noodle soup.

  3. put some oil in a pan, put in the chicken, sprinkle on cinnamon, and lemon pepper, cook on one side, then flip, add some apples in the pan before the chicken is finished in the pan

    season the chicken, with chicken seasoning, and all purpose if you have them, or whatever you have, add some black pepper, then put in a pot of warm oil (just a lil) let it cook, meanwhile chop some peppers (any colour(s)) and onions then add to the pot when chicken is cooked, add small amounts of water to help it simmer for a while then serve with rice, basmatti is the best and trakes 10 minutes to cook...

    Chicken Ranch Tacos

    1 box (4.7 oz) Old El Paso® Stand 'N Stuff™ taco shells

    3 cups cut-up deli rotisserie chicken (from 2- to 2 1/2-lb chicken) (or any chicken you have, cooked and cut into pieces or shredded)

    1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso® taco seasoning mix  

    1/2 cup ranch dressing

    1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce

    1 medium tomato, chopped (3/4 cup)

    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

    1/4 cup sliced green onions

    Additional ranch dressing, if desired

    1. Heat taco shells in oven as directed on box.

    2. Meanwhile, in medium microwavable bowl, place chicken. Sprinkle with taco seasoning mix; toss gently to coat. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 3 minutes or until hot. Stir in 1/2 cup dressing.

    3. Spoon warm chicken mixture into heated taco shells. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese and onions. Drizzle with additional dressing.

    This one is very good and very light, perfect for a hot summer's day.

    Club Pasta Salad

    1 package Betty Crocker® Suddenly Salad® ranch & bacon pasta salad mix

    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1 1/2 cups cut-up cooked turkey or chicken

    1/2 cup cherry tomato, cut into fourths

    1/2 cup julienne strips Cheddar cheese

    4 cups bite-size pieces lettuce

    1. Fill large saucepan 2/3 full of water. Heat to boiling. Stir in contents of Pasta-Vegetable pouch. Gently boil uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.  

    2. Drain pasta. Rinse with cold water. Shake to drain well.

    3. Stir Seasoning mix and mayonnaise in large bowl. Stir in pasta and remaining ingredients except lettuce. Serve on lettuce. Refrigerate leftovers (if desired, moisten with a few teaspoons milk before servings).  


  6. Curried Chicken.

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breast fillets, diced

    2 onions, chopped

    1 garlic clove, crushed

    3 tablespoons cooking oil

    1/2 ounce medium curry powder (more if you prefer it hotter)

    14 ounces can evaporated milk

    salt and freshly ground black pepper.

    Cook the chopped onions and garlic in the oil for a few minutes, allowing them to colour slightly. Add the curry powder and continue to cook for a few minutes. Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper and add to the curried onions. Turn in the pan until completely sealed on all sides. Add the evaporated milk and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking. Check for seasoning and your curry is ready. To lift the finished dish, sprinkle with some chopped fresh coriander.


  7. Chicken fingers

    Cut it into strips, dip into flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and seasoning salt, fry in a little oil for a few min on each side and check for doneness by peircing a big peice with fork to see if juices run clear or just make sure it is not pink anymore.

  8. Olive Garden Alfredo Fettuccine

    1 pint heavy cream  

    1 stick (1/2 cup) butter  

    2 tablespoons cream cheese  

    1/2 - 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese  

    1 teaspoon garlic powder, add in more to suit your taste if you prefer

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    8 ounces fettuccine, cooked and drained

    In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Simmer this for 15 - 20 minutes over low heat.

    Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well. Leftovers freeze well.


  9. 1 large can of Cream of Chicken soup, with equal parts milk.

    Brown Chicken in skillet, add soup . Simmer un covered 25 minutes flipping chicken occasionally.  Meanwhile cook 1/2 - 1 cup white rice or 1 serving of mashed potatoes. Serve over rice or potatoes. Add pinch of salt and pepper.
