  1. Any vet clinic or humane society can dispose of it for you.  Most larger cities have animal cemetaries that can bury or cremate it for you.  For something so small, any farmer/acreage owner will probably be willing to bury it for you.  If it died of natural causes, you can freeze it and donate it to a wildlife rehab/raptor sanctuary to feed other animals.

  2. I had a pet gerbil that died during the winter so we couldn't bury it (frozen ground).  We put it in a plastic baggie and then in a shoe box and taped it shut and left it in the garage (since it was cold in there) and waited til spring to have a little ceremony and bury it in the backyard.  Didn't open the box....

  3. Cremation..

  4. why cant you bury it???

i would call the vet and ask about cremation. if [s]he doesnt provide it he can point you in the direction of someone who does.

  5. You cant bury it?

How about getting it cremated or taking it to a pet cemetary  or memorial..?

My dad had to put one of ours in a box and just send it off to the dumpsters. :(

  6. When my kitten died we had him cremated.  Our vet sent it to a crematory for us and we got his ashes back in a little urn with his name on it.  =(  I think that was better emotionally for me than putting him in a dumpster or letting other animals eat him like one person suggested.  I don't know why, but that would just bother me.

Maybe you should ask your vet if they can help you with the cremation the way ours did.
