What's the best tourist location in jamaica?

Okay so it depends on the tourist....

if your on a sun vacation (eat sleep  swim eat) then stick to ochi rios or montego bay they have all the usual main stream tourist sites.

If you have an alternative lifestyle then definately montego bay... and negril

If your in for romance sun a bit more secluded then id say runaway bay or oracabessa

If your an adventurer into hiking and the unbeaten track then st elizabeth or white house is where id head... u can get from deep sea diving, fishing  to crocodile safari style

If you want to smoke " that thing of which we do not speak because it is illegal" and walk around in bathing suits all day even on the road.. then negril is your place.

If your a posh tourist... famous and need to get away from people who will know you stalk you and annoy your for autographs... then definately portland is your place.

If your a trendy city type... into art music fine dining, business, games of chance and history then come to kingston.. u just have to travel about 1.5 hours to a proper beach,,, or head to port royal and go to a little island called  lime kay

and from just about anywhere u can find good hiking although kingston is the most popular place to start the blue mountain hike.
