What's the best travel abroad program with an intensive language curriculum?

I'm looking to condense 4 semesters of a foreign language course into as little time as possible.

Some programs I've been looking at condense 4 semesters into 16 weeks, which sounds perfect.

I've been looking at CIEE, CCIS, and a few others. Can you recommend any? Have you done any exchange programs that you liked where you also cram-packed learning a language at the same time?

You don't say whether or not you're a high school or college student, but any program where you live with a family and go to school in that language will do the trick. Language immersion is the fastest way to learn.
