What's the best vampire series besides Twilight??

Any books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes are amazing! There is In The Forest of The Night, Demon In My View, Shattered Mirror, Midnight Predator. And then there is the The Kiesha'ra series: Hawksong, Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry and Wyverhail.

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause (Werewolfs, but still good!)

Blue Bloods is pretty awesome. So is the House of Night Series by P.C. Cast! It does a different take on the whole vamp thing!

Well if you don't mind adult contents then read The Black Dagger Brotherhood. It's pretty interesting and just full on romance =)

I actually quite like Dracula or Ann Rice's vampire books. Both are leaps and bounds beyond twilight.

Blue Bloods is good, but a little young for my taste. But I'll finish the series, though.

Vampire Academy is great. It's a series.

I've started the House of Night books by P.C. Cast. The first one is called Marked. I really like the series, it's great.

Tantalize isn't a series, but it's a good book.

I don't know if you're into faeries, but a few good series out there out the Tithe series by Holly Black, and the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr. I really like them.

Some people like Cirque Du Freak, but I don't like it. It's more for guys, and it's a really low reading level.
