What's the best version of ipod?

Question

I'm getting a new ipod but I'm not sure if I want to get the new version of the nano or the new ipod classic. Could anyone help me out with my decision? Or if there's a better kind than those could you tell me?

By the way, I tried out a friend's iPod classic and the scrolling was really hard to work. It was a little slow or stopped at times. I'm not sure if it was just her ipod or if that's how it is on all of them. Could you let me know? Thanks!

ipod touch is the best 2 all media

i perfer the nano cuz theres vids music and great sized

The iPod touch is the bomb. But you have to pay a monthly bill if you use the internet. I think that you should get the iPod classic and I'm pretty sure that the scrolling problem was just her iPod. Hope i helped!: )

It could be the fact she might have the old firmware or she had a skin on which is the cause why it might be slow to scroll. It happens with my ipod video because i have a big skin over it. Um if you got over 1000 songs then go for the video because at least you will be future proof =). iPod nano 8GB are a rip. 4GB are ok!

well scrolling is usually fast and smooth the only ipod i have no expericane with is the ipod touch so i would reccomend u getting the new ipod nano becuase u can really do a lot of great things with it if u star lookin at mp3's or 4's i would deff suggest the zen it it awesome u can put music movies photo's alarm  and loads of other things on it its really cool and i have one my brother has the new nano

it really depends what your needs are. personally i have a second generation nano and ran out of room quickly so i am looking at the classic.  about your friends ipod she probably just hasnt updated recently or filled it up to the max, so it is not on all ipods. if you want more space and a bigger screen go for the classic. but for convenience the nano wins hands down

the touch is the best!

the nano is OK but capacity similar to touch

easy to use.

but if yu have huge amounts of music the classic as it has 80 or 160GB of hard disk the touch and nano are solid state.

ignore any comments on contract for a touch its an ipod not the iphone. running a touch is free!
