I was interested, and there are alot of different courses. Which ones are vital, and which might be unneccesary? I saw Interior Architect, but thought that would be more architectural (obviously :) ). Are there trainee/apprenticeships offered? I was hoping to eventually consult/run start my own business in the field. I've come from a hospitality/tourism background, and am familiar in Graphic Design, but don't hold qualifications.

  1. a good place to start would be community college, they get to the meat and potatoes of a subject without all the costly and unnecessary fluff that state colleges will bleed you for.

  2. Find out who would like their line of products displayed in a show room or if they are willing to make changes to their present display and designs. Ask them specific questions about the kind of money they are looking to gain and gear your presentations toward that financial market of buyers.( just a suggestion).
