I live in Orange County and I'm a beginner. I'll be praticing one or two times a week, so I think I'll be looking for a longboard, a mini-mal, or a pop-out. Any suggestions? Thanks, everyone.

  1. all i can say is try ebay...its usually the best for buying things

  2. try and seecond hand sporting goods store.

  3. Look around in all the local surf shops, they have a lot of used boards. when picking one out make sure it doesn't have any cracks, dings or water damage. depending on the shop they may even let you take it out for a test ride. also look around and see how much new boards cost that way you're not paying the same price for an used board.

  4. You can do it Eeeeeeee-BAY!!!!!!!

  5. Ebay or a store.

  6. buy online http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q...

  7. In addition to Paluzzi81's answer, quite a few surfshops have swapmeets, or know of swapmeets going on in the area.  They are perfect for buying boards.  All of the boards there are going to be used and you can negotiate with the seller.  I've found some really good boards this way.  And again, not that expensive.

  8. yard sale...thats the best way..atleast thats how i got mine secondhand it sucks though cause i had to move to az for my dads job..good luck on finding a board

  9. buy it in person

  10. Try Craig's list.

My bf is actually selling a 9'4 right now. I believe he posted it on Craig's or you can e-mail him about it at contact@fluidfilms.com

he's also an avid surfer so you can ask him about surfing as well. Good Luck!

*and we're also located in the los angeles area, so if you did want to buy from him you could meet in the middle.

    Surfs up!

  11. Maybe you should look on the internet.I am sure you can find one there! I hope you find one!

  12. Absolute best way is through a serious friend who surfs, then a surf shop. I live in N.B. and have 2 boards I wanna sell. Not sure if they're the right size for you but I'm pretty big. E-mail me at janndon_evans@yahoo.com
