What's the best way to clean a stainless steel surface without leaving streaks?

I have a stainless steel trash can, toaster, and kitchen fixtures and I can't seem to clean them without leaving ugly streaks on them.

  1. I tried all the suggestions...and the easiest and cheapest solution worked perfectly ! Wipe down with a damp rag and dry with a micro fiber towel. clean with NO STREAKS ! YEAH !
