I have a summer job, but no car! The job is about 15 miles away. I don't have to go on any freeways, so would it be impractacle to travel by moped or something similar? I looked up the bus routes and couldn't find any running from my location to the job site. I could ride with someone, but they leave about 2 hours before I need to be there. What would you reccomend I do?

  1. Moped or Motorcycle would be great, but you need to have a backup plan in case of rain!

  2. You can try and call a taxi or maybe try going as close as possible via bus and try walking the rest of the way. But yeah, since there's no highway involved, moped or old lightweight motorcylce would be pretty awesome.

  3. Bicycle, anyone in reasonable shape can easily maintain a speed of 12 to 15 mph as long as the terrain isn't too hilly. Get in some practice now so you'll be ready come summer.

  4. motorcycle, bike, scooter, walk, run, crawl, jump

  5. Sometimes you have to be creative with the bus schedules.  You could take a combination of 2 buses, or walk and bus together.  Many bus systems have bike racks on each bus as well.

  6. A moped or Bicycle would be good for ya just make sure you wear a helmet!

    good luck!

  7. moped or bicycle...........

  8. buy two teleporter pads, put one at your home and one at work

  9. Well I would say that your only real choice would be a bicycle.

At least you'll be in good shape.

  10. Maybe a light-rail. Or any sort of train that takes people places. Or, you can ask if you could work more hours, specifically 2 Hours Early, so you can ride with that person.
