What's the best way to cover up a penny size burn in the carpet?

I live in an apartment and I want my full deposit back. and we noticed the carpet was melted in one spot out in the open. what is the best way to cover it up?

Take a pair of scissors and cut some shavings off from different spots of your carpet and then mix it with glue (pliable) and use that to fill in the hole. I've done it before and if you do it right the landlords will never notice. Hope this helps!

Put some bubble gum on it.

Comb some fibers from the corner and edge of carpeting.  Glue these fibers into the spot.
