What's the best way to crush soda cans?

I have a lot of empty cans and would like to crush them, but when I take them outside I have to stomp each can individually and it makes a ton of noise. Is there a better way? Thanks.

you used to could buy a wall-mounted can crusher made specifically for the purpose of protecting your feet from the crushing cans while simultaneously protecting your ears from the awful racket. i would imagine a flea market or yard sale might turn one up. they were available in a variety of colors. you might try google-ing "wall-mounted can crusher" and see what you find. Ebay might be another good source.
