What's the best way to curl your eyelashes?

My eyelashes will not curl! They are super straight! I've tried using a eyelash curler but it only works for a second or two until I blink. Help!

i think that u should try and apply some Vaseline on it, it would become thick and therefore it would start to get shape. i've did it and it works, rather than u having to buy stuff and it mite nt work.

Maybe it's time for you to get a new eyelash curler, there's one that Target sells for about 8 dollars that works really awesome. It's the Sonya Kashuk(sp?) brand. Or you can get the Shu Umera curler for triple the price. Whatever curler you get make sure the cushion thing between the curler is rounded, not dented in, for some reason, the rounded ones work better.

heat your lash curler with the blowdryer, make sure you're NOT heating the side that directly touches your eye, you might burn your eyelid. also, after you blowdry it, touch it with your fingers to make sure it's not too hot.

After you curl your eyelashes, you might wanna consider putting a dab of vaseline on your lashes, it makes your eyelashes very pretty, really shimmery!

I also had that problem because my eyelashes are so short. But what i do it that i put the eyelash curler against my eye and curl from the base of the lashes to the tip, squeeze the curler and hold it in place for about 3 seconds then release a bit [but don't move the curler away] then squeeze it again for about 3 more seconds. After you have done that put the curler at the middle of your lashes then squeeze it and hold it for about 5 seconds. When you apply the mascara hold the brush upwards and apply the mascara to your lashes vertically instead of horizontally [this way it makes your lashes stand up more and you get more volume].

First use the curler and then apply a really good curling mascara ... it works for me and its not all comply good luck

Heres something i do sometimes... its kinda bad for ur lashes, thats why u should do it everyday...

I take a metal eyelash curler, not one of the plastic ones...

Then i take a lighter and put the flame on the part that squeezes ur eyelashes. Leave it there until its hot. Let it cool some seconds, then curl ur eyelashes. apply mascara

I use the Jemma Kidd Make Up School eyelash curler as well as Max Factor's Masterpiece Mascara which curls lashes too. However, if you're having a problem with regular curlers, why not try a heated one instead? Just like heat helps to style your hair, it also curls your lashes. Also, a really good curling mascara like the M/F one. Bourjois and L'Oreal also make really good ones, too.

before you go to bed put on some waterproof mascara. If you have under the eye stuff int he morning whip that off but DON'T whip off the mascara. Then use the curlers, then use the mascara that is 2 sided and comes with white stuff that you cover with black stuff .... you can either use the curlers up to 3 times (that is before use, after you put on the white understuff and then after you put on the mascara). I find that the aged mascara shapes better (sort of like greasy hair!).

I have the same problem :)

You Will Need:

Hair dryer

Eye lash curler

Mascara

First, blow dry your eye lash curler for about 5 seconds. Next, pat it on your hand to make sure it won't burn the skin around your eyes when you curl the eyelashes. That wouldn't be good :p Then start at the tip of your lash and curl that, move down and curl then next part, then curl the base of your eye lash. (I do 3 different sections of curling.) Then quickly apply two coats of mascara. Then do the same with your other eye.

I can't gurantee it will last a whole entire 24 hr day, but it does last awhile longer than one blink..for sure :)

The only way i know is if u totally plaster your eyelashes with mascara and when its wet use the curlers, hold ready tightly if that doesnt work buy fake ones, not much else u can do

curl your lashes starting at the base. don't go tooo far in or you'll pinch yourself!! hold for about 5seconds and move to the middle of your lashes hold for 5 seconds and then move to the top hold for 3 seconds. now start batting those lashes!

If you use a regular eyelash curler (no heat) then take a hair dryer and blast it with hot air for about 3 seconds. Try to get mascara made especially to give curly eyelashes. Good luck!!!
