Question:

What's the best way to do this, without being stupid?

Okay, so, I have a question. I'm eighteen, I have some college credits. I know that most people need to have that piece of paper in order to get a decent, well paying job.

In thinking about it though, I think the concept is ridiculous. I'm going to put myself thousands and thousands of dollars in debt trying to go to school while working full time (since I do not have the luxary of living at home with mom and dad)...

Is there anyway to 'beat the system' so to speak? I've taken a few classes online, and that seems to work with my full time schedule. Financial aid helps, but does not, at all, cover all the costs.

Ideas? Suggestions? Help??

Maybe like a specialty college that doesn't make you take all the 'required' classes in most colleges. Like, I've had 12 years of learning english in public school, I don't see why it's a requirement to take two courses in english...

Thanks!

  1. Nursing programs have 2 year programs for the RN. It's a good paying job. There's really no way around it. Bachelor degrees are now like high school diplomas previously. Many people are continuing now for Masters degrees. You could try getting a job that will pay for you to go to school.

  2. That depends on what you want to do.

Some careers require so much schooling, obviously.

I know way too many people with a four or five year degree who are working at regular jobs and constantly complain about all the debt they are in.
