yes the classified adds are useful or just walking into to restaurants, supermarkets, and apartment complexes to speak with someone in person or fill out an application

go to the place of businees and ask, or call  if you have the number. or see if they (the place you want t work) have a website, if they do they usually have a section for employment. Most states have website for jobs, check it out ,or even try the daily labor services (temp work).
