I used to work for Best Buy, so I know what employee costs for cables are, is there any other way of getting those kind of deals on cables?

  1. I got mine by doing a search on eBay for about $10 shipped.

  2. www.monoprice.com has pretty much the cheapest cables.  I got a 3ft HDMI cable for $3; 2 6' USB cables for $2.xx each, and some other stuff.

Blue Jeans cables are also supposed to be of very good quality, though I haven't tried them  yet.

  3. look around the web... you can find places like craigslist and ebay that might have a lower price than a big place like bestbuy because you are buying off of someone else that might not know what they are doing.

  4. Find an add online and take it to a store that will price match.  That way you not only get a great deal...some places will beat competitors prices by 10 % of the difference and you don't have to pay shipping costs or wait for the product.  The trick is finding a sale on a product that is available at the price-matching store.  I did this and saved over $60 off an HDMI cable (Belkin Pure AV) at Staples.

  5. You can get them at wholesale prices online. As low as $5.95 for a gold plated 1.3a 6ft cable. Check there shipping price and policy. Some places charge your $4 per cable to ship no matter how many you order. While they advertise $3 cables they over charge on shipping. So be careful.

  6. Amazon.com has a good deal on them.

  7. Go to wal mart you can get them for about $15-$50 dollars there.

  8. I have a friend who got his for a dollar each on some website.

  9. I dont care what anyone says.. there is no difference in quality, hdmi is hdmi... gold/copper/whatever... they all are the same.. buy cheap. try ebay...or if your in a verizon service area order fios tv and we give them out for free when we do the install...

  10. I disagree totally.  I am a custom installer and I can tell a difference from a $20 HDMI cable to a $100 HDMI cable.  It will depend on the size of the TV, but there is a difference.  Especially if you are using the HDMI on a Blu-Ray player because of transfer rate.
