What's the best way to get abs for a woman? ?

I want to have my tummy toned and looking nice. I have lots of celluloid on

the lower half of my tummy and it's hard to lose it, so if you know of any good exercises for the lower half I would much appreciate knowing them.

  1. Sit-ups are a great way to build awesome abs. However, they have fitness dvds at Walmart and places like that. Get one for abs. That is my best suggestion. =)


  2. an  excellent  exercise,  you  can do it in front of your TV: sit on a

    stool,  and  put  your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,

    for  example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure

    that  it  is  not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you

    will  damage  your  back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your

    body  back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and

    move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add

    to  the  number  of  repetitions.  You will see the results in a week,

    guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six

    pack  and  muscles.  Dumbbells  do  wonders.  Much  better  than these crunches  -  I  came  up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

  3. Every single advertisement for abs getting ripped is false. Excersing your abs every day for 12 hours will not make them show. They will get bigger and stronger but that layer of fat is still going to cover them. The only way to get them to show is to lose that layer of fat. Fat targetting is completely false as well so you will have to loseing overall body fat. Which means in other words lower your body fat percentage. A good 1-2% will make a huge difference.

    As for lower ab work outs. Jack-Knifes work great as well as doing crunches with a ball inbetween your legs. (weights of course). Make sure to touch the ground with your feet when seperating and bring up your butt when bring your elbows and knees together.

  4. try using a weighted hula hoop, I have been using one its 4lbs. Its a little heavy and u do bruise alot, I'm getting a lighter one which will be 2lbs. it will be easier and i will last longer with it. Very fun to do and u can lose 1 inch in ur waist in 2 weeks by increasing your minutes, 1-3 minutes the first week. 3-5 minutes  the next, and start increasing but dont go pass 20 because it will be very painful
