  1. And you don't think Broadway, dinner theatre, and resident theatres are for professionals??  Only a tiny, tiny fraction of screen actors even make a living at it. Those that become big, are very very lucky, talented, experienced and  trained.  Acting is not a profession that you go into and just work your way to the top, like say teaching or politics.  Acting requries much more luck, it is terribly overcrowded with the out of work, and you have to work very hard to stay employed.

  2. start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!

  3. Smile and audition audition audition

  4. I think you're doing a wonderful job already. :)

    John

  5. Talk clearly and loud, use expression, smile, be confident. Just dont overdo any of them. Good luck being noticed!

  6. Yeah you would need to make a portfolio of your work.

Alot of sites let you make free ones.

Then you'd need to go through casting calls and things like that, search for them in your area, and you'd start auditioning for different movies and shows. Be carerful of scamms though theres so many out there/

  7. Boobies, boobies are the best way to get noticed.

  8. If you are just starting out then I wouldn't see an agent as being necessary. The best thing to do is find your state or province's film commission and find out if anyone is casting. You can even take the back door, as it were by working as a production assistant, which doesn't have much to do with acting but builds connections in the movie industry. I've done some production assisting work before and actually my friend who was working on it got to be an extra in the movie. If you can't find any work in film, then try to work in stage theater to refine your art.

    Good luck!

  9. Dissing your fellow actors, huh?

Movies are for professionals, but live theater is for actors.

  10. Acting on stage is the most exhilarating thing you will ever experience.

Movies aren't for professionals; they're for airbrushed wannabes who can learn their lines in between skits.

Live theatre is something to live for. Movies are something to live BY.

    (: Just saying.
