I'm an 18 year old guy interested in getting started in boxing. What's the best way to do this in Kansas City? Do you need to get a trainer? What's the best way?

  1. go to a boxing gym and get a trainer at a boxing gym. some things to ask about your possible trainer are...

how well have his other fighters done?

will you have a learning period of time before he puts you in the ring? never go somewhere where they just throw you in the ring to see how tough you are. you want a trainer who is looking out for your saftey. best of luck to you but remeber it has nothing to do with luck but lots of hard work.

feel free to send me a message if you have any questions

  2. Im an amateur boxer in Clinton, MD..

First off, I went to a gym that i found at boxinggyms.com..

Then the trainer gave me everything to get started...

  3. Holy c**p! I'm a boxer in Independence, MO. And I train with a great coach named Tony Thornton. It's with Golden Gloves Boxing Association so it's reputable. Go to this website:

    http://www.srkcma.com/

But when you box make sure that you really want to do it, because it will you push you to your limits.

And if you contact Tony tell him that Lauren Karr sent you their. If you have any other questions e-mail me at lkarr3259@yahoo.com.
