  1. Get on the roof with a gun.  SWAT notices stuff like that.  Otherwise you might develop a stellar reputation on the force and then apply to SWAT.


  2. Our multijurisdictional EST team requires one to apply to their own police agency first.  After the interview, a candidate is recommended.  then they have to go through testing.

    Psychological, physical and task related testing.
