What's the best way to get to Charlottesville, Virginia from Singapore? Is washington DC the nearest Airport?

Once I arrive in DC, should I rent a car and drive to Charlottesville or would it make more sense to fly via domestic to Charlottesville?

Delta, Northwest, USAir and United all fly into Charlottesville. You can book a continuous fly on United...nonstop to Washington Dulles from Singapore, connecting to another United flight directly into Charlottesville.

Fly into Dulles International..which is outside DC in Northern Virginia, from Dulles you should be able to catch a flight to Charlottesville, I know in the past US Air flew to Charlottesville but you will have to check to make sure this is the case still..you could rent a car but it is about an hour and a half to two hour drive..if you flew directly into Regan airport in DC it would be about twenty minutes added onto your driving time.I would fly into Charlottesville.
