What's the best way to get to Lloret from Calella?

Do you still get the train to Blanes, and then a bus to Lloret? Can you still buy a ticket that takes you straight through or do you need to buy a separate return ticket when you get on the bus? The last few times I have used the boat (dorfijet) but there's a few of us going this time and it'll be a bit expensive plus you are restricted to the boat timings for coming and going. Also, does the bus stop in Fanals, or is it just as easy to walk to Fanals from Lloret (if I remember correctly there's a cliff top walk?). Phew, thanks in advance.
