What's the best way to get to Providence RI (Brown University area) from Logan Intl. Boston?

I'm looking for a way get from Logan International to the area around Brown. Does anyone have any recommendations? I haven't really used any kind of public transportation other than planes, so simple and detailed instructions would be really helpful. Thanks!

go to your local bus depot and ask them for a recommendation

When you land take the silver line (S1) to the redline, then take the redline to South Station. From there you can buy a ticket to Providence RI (train).

Another way would be the bus, there are too many options just look and buy your ticket online.

I say take the MBTA silver line bus from Logan to South Station, and then hop on Amtrak at South to Providence.
