What's the best way to get tree sap from clothes?

I sat on a bench that was sitting under a tree and now I have sap on the seat of my pants :-(

Nail Polish remover, if the color on the clothes will take it.

2 possible options...either freeze the pants and try and peel off the frozen sap or you may need to use some goo-b-gone to dissolve it.
