Question:

What's the best way to go about booking a Vegas Wedding Dinner?

I'm going to be staying in Vegas for two weeks in November. I'm going to be getting married on the 3rd day of my visit.

The wedding's all booked up and the theres going to be about 6-8 of us in the wedding party.

Do you think I'd be better booking up a restaurant over the phone / internet (i live in UK) way in advance, or seeing what takes my fancy when I get out there? Surely this will be enough notice? Plus, I fancy my chances of blagging a discount more in a face to face deal than through an internet booking form!!

And secondly, does anyone whos got married in (or been to) a vegas wedding have any suggestions for a good place to go? Where did you go?

Thanks all in advance for you consideration of this matter!

  1. Good day.

Happy Nups to y'all and have a merry holiday...

Comps in Vagas baby...your going to have to work for

them, unless someone is a whale (person that gambles in the 30-40k range in your party) then they throw shows, canyon trips, limo, suites..at ya...when I say work, when you check in, bellperson, pitbosses, and throw big tips around...ask for locals advice on things...I am a Texas gal, been couple of 12 times w/whales and w/out..w/out I got coupons from the Chamber and call Grand Canyon mule rides, box office and let them know that any no shows i was on stand by and tipped 20-50 bucks depending what it was...but get the coupons and use the fact your from the UK..have fun and

always have non refundable plane tickets..(carry snacks foods-you might need them)...happy trails....

  2. merry wedding to you, or what ever you say in the UK, here are some thoughts, might help, might not-

    1.  If your wedding party is not over 10 people, you should have no problem booking at any of the restaurants on or around the strip, but you will need two taxis, or a limo for the evening, limos are best

    2.  I assume you are doing this on the strip, so it would be nice to have your celebratory dinner close by, however, you should be aware, that 'blagging a discount' will probably not happen here, although with the economy changing you never know

    3.  Here are some of my personal fav's, and their hotel casino, but be aware, your concierge at the hotel you stay at will be the best source for up to date info on availability;  Alize' at the Palms, Benihana's at the Hilton, the Steak house at the Circus, Demon's at the 4 Seasons/Mandalay Bay, well this gives you a  sampleing of availability good luck
