I wanna learn how to speak Japanese. What's the best way to learn?

actually speaking japanese is not so hard. listening is a little harder and writing/reading are much harder.

u'd better learn the basic grammer first, then practice speaking by following CD-ROMs for beginners or web sites.

the best way is to make japanese friends!! one of my friend got a big improvement since she met me. am the first japanese friend of her. she asked me to help her homework (she was taking a japanese class by the way), talk to her in japanese and fix her pronunciation.

Taking basic Japanese grammar lessons and work your way up.

I study Japanese on japanese-online.com it's a very good site.

Definitely taking a class, online or in person, is a great start.

If you take a live class, you have the benefit of being able to practice conversation with others.

realkana.com is a great site to learn hiragana and katakana.

make a japanese friend and talk to them a lot!

but probably the best way would be to go live in japan and try to get around for a year ^__^

The best way to learn to speak Japanese well is simple.  

Go to Japan to study and live for a while.  While you are there, stay away from people who speak English so you are forced to learn Japanese.
